    I just tried xiaopan and my audio card is now f**k up.
    long story short,i booted xiaopan on my flash drive with unetbootin,everything went well untill it said xiaopan does not recognize my audio card and right after that i heard a strong like "wistle" sound from my speakers that keep continuing after the boot and desktop screen appears.i tried a couple of tools and that sound kept going on and on until i rebooted.after reboot i got back my old arch and my audio card is stil not working,reinstall audio drivers and check everything but no succes.my laptop config is :CPU i3,2,1gh ;4gh RAM;audio HDA intel PCH; nvidia geforce GT520MX dedicated video card;
    any help would be apreciated.

    This is a well reported issue and it is stated in the download page of the issue and states how to clean Xiaopan from causing speaker damage. A solution before you used this version would have been to use in virtualisation. There is also an ALSA version that is safe to use.

    Disclaimer / warning: Xiaopan 0.4.3 | Download
    Issue when it was first reported: Xiaopan 0.4.3 | Download

    Sounds like you do need to replace your speakers,if your laptop is still under warranty you could try and see if you could get them replaced.
    If you need to replace them and are confident taking your laptop to bits it's not a hard job replacing them they just unplug.

    You might wan't to test your old speakers before ordering new ones with a multi meter if you got one just incase something onboard has blown.
    You could probably use any altec-lansing speakers for laptops usualy oval shape if you where prepared to solder and bodge them in.
