Reaver is quite easy to use, now there is an easier option that requires no typing just clicking. First you need to install reaver. BackTrack R2 already has reaver installed. If you are not sure if it is installed or not, type reaver in terminal and see if you get a bunch of text to show you that it is installed.

Download this deb (password is dishingtech) and place it on your desktop in BackTrack or Ubuntu system.

    Then in terminal type
    Code:
    Select All
    cd Desktop
    Code:
    Select All
    dpkg -i '/root/Desktop/inflator1.0-backtrack5r1-gnome-bit32.deb'
This is where you will find inflator:

After it is installed, you should see it. Another easier option is just to download my virtual machine image (see 2nd image) which has Reaver Inflator and other awesome stuff in it. If you are unfamiliar with reaver or have trouble using it check out Reaver on Google Code.

    Hi davidcafu,

Yes = The AP has identified the hacking attempt and has locked up, at this state it is impossible and/or very slow to complete the attempt.

Had the same problem. Couldn't get inflator or feedingbottle to execute running 64bit debian. This is what worked for me may work for you. Installed 32bit debian 7.0 live dvd to harddrive after a reboot. Open root terminal:
    Code:
    Select All
    apt-get update
    Add Kali Linux repos in:
    Code:
    Select All
    /etc/networks/sources.list
    Code:
    Select All
    deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib deb-src http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free deb http://repo.kali.org/kali kali-bleeding-edge main deb-src http://repo.kali.org/kali kali-bleeding-edge main apt-get update
You may get (error gpg public key). Just leave it or Google it for the fix.
    Code:
    Select All
apt-get install leafpad gksu aircrack-ng reaver xterm python-qt4
    Open root terminal:
    Code:
    Select All
    dpkg -i feedingbottle-3.2.3-ubuntu.deb dpkg -i inflator1.0-backtrack5r1-gnome-bit32.deb dpkg -i minidwep-gtk-40420-ubuntu-32bit.deb dpkg -i wpscrackgui_1.2.4-1_airubuntu.deb dpkg -i fern-wifi-cracker_1.6_all.deb
Go to main menu find inflator right click add to desktop. Right click desktop icon open with leafpad, add gksu to line:
    Code:
    Select All
    Exec=gksu /bin/inflator/inflator
    Code:
    Select All
    [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=Inflator 1.0 GenericName=Reaver Command generator Exec=/bin/inflator/inflator Terminal=false Icon=/bin/inflator/inflator_icon.png Type=Application Categories=bt-wireless-exploitation-lan;
    This also work on feedingbottle

For running 32bit apps on 64bit system just install ia32-libs should work fine no need to install 32bit os.
