    Hello World

    Hello to all at Xiaopan!

New to the forum, but even moreso supernoob to Linux.

After many years of being the "free tech service" for friends, family, and co-workers, I've finally built a much needed multiboot USB (see Yumi Pendrive) for which I can partition, format, install OSs, scan and repair disks, boot virus check, and recover lost files and more. I've decided to add to my arsenal some Linux distros -and Xiaopan was recommended, and a first for me.

Hoping you can Yoda me through Xiaopan but also general Linux functions and code.
As with other forums, I try to share as much back as I can if/when I can help.

Looking forward to building a great forum with you all,
