Parallels has made it super easy to convert your Vmware VMs into Parallel Desktop / Workstation ones (.vmdk to .pvs). To convert

Watch the video below to see how it is done. Ignore the errors, it seems to realise in the end what OS it is.

If you are looking to convert a range of physical and virtual machines into VMware ones such as:
    • VMware VMs (.vmx)
    • VMware Consolidated Backup (.vmx)
    • Microsoft VirtualPC's or Virtual Server Machines (.vmc, .vhd)
    • Symantec LiveState Recovery Image (.sv2i)
    • Acronis True Image Backup (.tib)
    • StorageCraft ShadowStor (.spf)
    • Parallels Virtualsiation Products (.pvs)
    • Hyper-V VMs (.vhdx)
VMware vCenter Converter Standalone will do that for you.
