Have you researched the issue before?:
Searched and read through: Downloaded drivers/firmware:
    • Compat-Drivers 3.9 rc4-2.tar.gz
    • iwlwifi-5000 ucode 5.4.11.tar.gz
    What is the Issue?:
    General Issues:
    1. Wifi Card not detected (From Wifi : "Wlan not detected")
    2. Don't know how to access and install drivers
    Other issues:
    • Supernoob to Linux / Unfamiliar with coding and apps
    • Uncertain if preparing kernel needed (nor how)
    • Uncertain if bluetooth being on is an issue . Nb: light for bluetooth always on, but for wifi not on when in Live (one physical switch on laptop to turn both on however).
    • Network setting to eth0, should this be configured?
Ultimately, What are you trying to achieve?:
Hack WPA with a Dictionary attack with FeedingBottle
What is your wireless device model?:
    Intel® Wireless WiFi 5100AGN
    USB or Internal Device?:
    Internal
    How are you using it?:
I am using Xiaopan as a LiveUSB
    Operating System:
    Windows
If you used a Live CD or USB How did you create it?:
    YUMI Pendrive
    What version:
    Xiaopan 0.4.5

Was using latest version 0.4.5.2.1 . Rolling back to 0.4.3 did the trick, thanks!
