I got RTL 8168 USB Wifi adaptor, can i use Reaver with it?

It has "Chipset: Realtek RTL8187L + RTL8225" chipset.

Is this work with reaver and other tools?

I would like to remind those that say that their cards might not be compatible when the list was given and your card "IS" in that list. If you plan on changing the MAC address "make sure the MAC of your monitor mode (mon0) interface matches the physical interface (wlan0)" otherwise you might run into problems such as not associating with the AP..and if you do manage to associate it will try the same pin over and over and over.

 

Can i use reaver pro with TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Adapter it is compatible with minidwep-gtk

hi i have a 802.11 wlan usb wireless card from Railink (external) is it good enough to crack a wpa2 psk?

if it is why none of the tools recognise it just in case fyi I am using vmware to open xiaopan os

 

I would like to upgrade Alfa AWUS036H (RTL8187). Would RT3072 usb adapter work from Amazon? Amazon.com: Etekcity High Power 802.11 B/N/G 300M USB Wireless 1000mw Wifi Network Adapter with Dual Antenna: Computers & Accessories Would you say RT3072 is an upgrade or should I stay with Alfa?

 

I recommend to get NHA with extra antenna. Because H link quality suck
