Rejected RTL8187 (AWUS036H) problem using Xiaopan

    Hi guys fellow Xiaopan Members can you please enlighten my problem i am using AWUS036H rtl1817 with VMPlayer Xiaopan 0.4.1 and i got this problem WLAN0 or not detected also i get "failed to associate....." please help why i get this problem and how to fix this? thanks in advance

    • Wlan0 or Wlan1 does not matter.
    • It fails to associate because the network isn't WPS enabled.... hence you cannot use Reaver or Minidwep.
    • Use a newer version of Xiaopan. That is so old... the one you are using.
    Find a WPS network. Also -71 is way too far. -64 or better is recommended.
    Yagi antenna and outdoor cracking is recommended.

    You should see wps listed after the encryption column if the network is WPS enabled.

    RSSI or signal strength.... -64.
