Antenna really works good and uses the Ralink RT3070‎ chipset.Has 4 half wave dipoles. Is sealed for outdoor use.
Purchased two on ebay for $24.51 free postage. It shipped from California. antenna.JPG

Windows 7 sucks have the correct usb driver and it will work. I use XP and linux
    and all my antennas work.
8.1 is even worst and to think 10 is being tested.

What Ralink problems with Windows 7 specifically ?

    I don't see any, Windows 7 x64 Ultimate...

In any case of problems with Windows 7 drivers the same trick can be used as
AR9271 (Atheros) where you can force the XP drivers onto Windows 7 or XP64 in the case of Windows 7 x64.

You don't have to use XP if the Win7 native drivers don't work. No need to go back to using crusty XP just to use drivers, just use the XP ones (same difference).

I wouldn't recommend doing this on Windows 8 as they totally removed support for NDIS 5 drivers. Vista/7 is the last OS where you can get away with it and it only works for simple devices (like adapters) not anything heavy like gfx card drivers.
