I have a RTL8187 alfa 500mW the traditional The commands i am talking about are the "arguments"/commands that you can run with Reaver, check the screenshot: I am talking about the ADVANCED OPTIONS, the Reaver different commands. The -N -L work nicely with my router, without them they are no good. Also i use -t and -T so i dont charge the router as it starts to rejects and give the pin attempts error. With the GUI version Reaver PRO i cant get it to work with my router.

I think inflator is your best bet. It maybe possible to tweak the startup commands through some reverse engineering but it is beyond my level of knowledge to do. Hi . After booting reaver pro live CD I get black screen ,like the monitor is turned off and it stays black what ever I do. I have a desktop Pc and ATI HD 5670. I have never managed to boot backtrack 4 and 5 in this manner because of the same problem . Is there a fix for this problem . Thanks.
I had this issue in Backtrack • Install grub at command prompt (will require internet connection) • At grub press TAB to edit boot • You well see something like this file=/something/something/etc • add Code: Select All xforcevesa noapic noapci nosplash irqpoll after initrd.gz • Reboot

Thanks I chose the first option in reaver pro " Live-boot the live system " It is on my dvd Much later after that it loads web gui firefox and when I click start syrvey nothing is found and when I exit it and try applications/reaver/start reaver gui I get enter your password to perform administrative tasks . I dont know the password. About installing grub do I do it from the terminal window and are there any risk of deleting my windows 7 boot sectors.
