Sweet, not even I got it to work on the first attempt. Glad you liked my tutorial --- Double Post Merged, 18 Dec 2013 --- I have updated Mac OS X from 10.9.0 to 10.9.1 and there were no issues. I did the following steps: Upgrade to 10.9.1 instructions 1. Backup via Time Machine 2. Make a clone of your hard drive if possible with Carbon Copy Cloner or similar 3. Repair permissions in Terminal: Code: Select All sudo diskutil repairPermissions 4. Close all programs except AppStore 5. Update the OS through the AppStore 6. Reboot 7. If you have no sound. Reinstall the kext or run Multibeast with your sound card 8. Reboot to check sound 9. All goes well, repeat steps 1 -3 in reverse order 10. Still no sound use Kext Utility or do the following in Terminal: Code: Select All sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel sudo kextcache -system-caches sudo diskutil repairPermissions for good measure and reboot
Thanks. i already made this update 10.9.1 just loose the sound and like you said, use multibeast to reinstall sound and that's it. Good work
Hi do u guys know how to get Graphics Acceleration for the HD4000 ..it's the only thing i need right now..i can't even look at a small video...
Enable it during Multibeast and what are your BIOS settings in relation to Graphics? I do not use my HD4000, I use my Radeon 7770
Well the memory is set at 64 in bios...Would really like to know how to enable it during multibeast..thank you.
Have you enabled graphics in org.chameleon.Boot.plist ??? Code: Select All <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string>
But i have a major problem since update...Can't open AppelStore anyway ! It write "Connection error, please try later..." ?????? Don't understand, in 10.9.0 no problem with that. Now, i can't solve this problem, an idea please ??? I use a nano key for internet wifi.
Not having that issue. Working perfectly. Maybe check your hostfile, firewall or use another network? Or install PlatformUUID.kext Check with Console with more detailed errors. Right on, More precisions : i can go on iTunes with my log gin, works perfectly, can open FaceTime also. Just for appelstore, doesn't open. So maybe it's a configuration when i try to open it ? Strange think, on 10.9.0 same connection and configuration...I check your videos link, thank you
Code: Select All <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> In your org.chameleon.Boot.plist and FileNVRAM.dylib in your /extra/modules if using chameleon boot loader

Just...it's for ethernet card build in. I don't use that. Only an usb nano key wifi. So, what will i do ???
Even if you do not use the Ethernet, it is must to have a Ethernet kext for your Ethernet in the Hackintosh. Even if it is in a non-working state . It is a must for a working App Store and iCloud. Also your ethernet card must be en0
