    I have installed iwep pro 5.03 and all dictioneries.
    Also tried to activate by pay pal code 000
    Now the problem i m facing is when i go to
    Mobile terminal su root passed password by putting
    Alpine after that i can not understand what to write
    On root#
    And after that what should i do
    Should i reboot my device
    I m living in Pakistan please tell me which type
    Of routers is used here if u can
    Thnx!

    lm trying to validate 5.3 (from big boss) with a legit paypall number
    and it wont work

    l've already tried to use terminal, and iFile to enable 777
    iFile wont find the application at all
    and l think l did the terminal thing correctly...
    but nothing seemed to happen

    any other thoughts
    things to try

    its a iphone 3g running ios4.1.2

    Think the latest version is 5.0.3. Please contact the dev, if not try a cracked 5.0.3.
    That is impossible if you have placed it in there. You might need to respring, refresh or reboot.
    Please post your list of commands and I will see if there are any errors.

    l did contact the dev
    got the same info l found on here and no other hints....

    iFile shows only three applications none of which is iwep
    perhapse l dont know how to reboot/respring properly....

    or am missing something else....


    my terminal commands:

    su root
    password
    cd /
    chmod -r 777 /applications/iwep\pro\5.app

    then it says
    chmod: can not acess 777 no such file or directory
    chmod: can not acess /applications/iweppro5.app no such file

    and gives me the root# prompt again

    thoughts?

    with spaces before the/ and after the\ and capitals

    this time it said can not access /iWep PRO 5.app : no such file

    could all not be accessed (separately)

    obviously l dont know anything about code....

    so i tried to remove iwep (via cydia)
    so l could reinstall or try a cracked version

    amd it froze
    (3 times)
    with an eror message

    sub process /usr/bin/dpkg returned error code 2

    the i tried to get something else from cydia
    and got the same error

    any idea what l broke
    and how to fix it

    oh and terminal wont lunch now
    it says PAM error
    line 396
    system error
    restart
    press ant key to restart

    lm frustrated

    well not sure why
    but it went into a start up loop (just showing the apple)
    (and after tring various versions or redsn00w and ireb
    l had to dfu and restore through itunes
    and re jail break

    think l might give up on iwep....
    there arnt that many stock password routers out there any more
    at least not on the left coast of the usofa
