Finally the latest and greatest WiFi cracking app has been released on Cydia. The developer over at iWazDev has created the best, feature packed and most expensive (or free if you decide to download it from a repo that hosts cracked apps) WiFi auditing tool out there. iWep Pro 5 allow users to check if their routers are exposed to some vulnerabilities. iWep PRO provides tools and methods to check if your router is exposed to key calculation. Supported routers are detected automatically. So, just select one supported network and wait untill iWep PRO finds, or not, your WEP/WPA key. But you can also download it here and install it through iFile and your computers. Using the App The MAC address is shown during the network scan, signal strength is shown and you can also connect and test the password through the app. Another good thing is that he offers a trial which is ad supported. Here is a list of supported networks. Do any of these look familiar? Supported Networks WLAN_XX WiFIXXXXXX ThomsonXXXXXX DmaxXXXXXX WLAN_XXXX WiFiXXXXXX BTHomeHub-XXXX Orange-XXXXX JAZZTEL_XXXX YACOMXXXXXX INFINITUMXXXXXX CytaXXXXXX WLANXXXXXX SpeedTouchXXXXXX EircomXXXX XXXX Bbox-XXXXXX TN_private_XXXXXX BigPondXXXXXX Alice_XXXXXXX O2wirelessXXXXXX FastWeb-1-XXXXXXX Discus--XXXXXX DlinkXXXXXX BlinkXXXXXX SKYXXXXX Networks in Green and Red use dictionaries. Also if you do not live in Britain, do not download the red one. The others are through different online methods. They will say On the Go (No Dictionary). WLAN_XX networks only if the BSSID begin with 00:02:CF. You will also need wlandecrypter to extend supported networks. You can also use Wlan Audit (Cydia) or download wlandecrypter Linux version. Remember you still have to install the dictionaries and the deb. How to Install iWep Pro 5 iWep Pro is also the most difficult to setup as you are required to download 12 iWep Pro dictionaries in Cydia (2004 to 2011) for offline use. Installation Instructions 1. Dictionary Downloads (Download them all) « Download new [BCOLOR=#ffff00]2007 - 2014[/BCOLOR] Thomson and dictionaries here: http://iwazowski.com/new/ » iWep PRO DictionaryBTDic 2005.deb BTDic 2006.deb Mediafire Mirrors STDic: / 2005 / 2006 BTDic: / 2005 / 2006 Password to download the files is: dishingtech How to Fix Mediafire File Blocked for Violation • Don't click the links, right click copy. • Copy the URL e.g: http://www.mediafire.com/?5x0oexn752md2ww and get rid of http://anonym.to/? part. • Paste / enter in your browser. New iWazowski Cydia Repo There is a new temporary repo if the links above do not work: http://iwazowski.hostzi.com/repo/ Dictionaries are DEB files, and have to be installed just like all other DEBs (using iFile or via MobileTerminal / SSH) or downloading them from the iWazowski repo. They extract as speedSHA1dic files. 2. Upload the files to your device First, you have to know where you want the .deb files (e.g /var/mobile/Media/Downloads) and upload the files on to your device. Best to use the easier method. 3. Install iWep Pro & Dictionaries Easiest Method Install iFile from Cydia or download it here Download iExplorer (or install afc2add and openSSH in Cydia) Download desired (.debs) files (if you haven't yet) to your desktop Run one of the apps and connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad usb cable The program will show your device contents, Now navigate to any folder for example: var/mobile/Documents (if you can't access the root directory, download afc2add in Cydia) Move (.deb) files from your desktop to var/mobile/Documents Run iFile from your iOS, and navigate to the same folder i.e. var/mobile/Documents Click on (.deb) file and select install one by one until you install all the required dictionaries Alternative Installation Method (You will need install iFile like this if you do not have it, or download it from Cydia) 1. Start Cydia, go to 'Search', type 'Mobile Terminal' and install it (if you haven't yet). Be aware that there are different versions for different iOSs.2. Repeat step 1 for 'OpenSSH' 3. Start 'MobileTerminal' 4. Type the following: • su root (press return) • alpine (press return) Install iWep Pro and the Dictionaries through Mobile Terminal e.g. type: dpkg -i /var/mobile/Media/Downloads/THEVERSIONFILENAME.deb (Note you can rename the.deb files e.g 1.deb which will make it quicker to install) and do that with the rest of the files you downloaded. 4. Open the App Note: You must be connected to WiFi, 3G or EDGE to activate your licence. iPad and iTouch users will need WiFi or 3G. 5. Activating Your Licence To activate your license you must be connected via WiFi or 3G and follow these steps: Slightly different than the video for 5.0 Open iWEP Pro app Tap on "Settings" tab- Tap on "Register application" Enter at least 3 letters/numbers into "PayPal Code" field- Tap on "Validate" button After you enter the activation code you should get something like this: security verification code CO F4B1U51W3PPR0CR4CK Also know that iAP cracker has also been known to have conflicts. When you install the files and you Finish with Result Code 256 error message? It means you made a mess of installations. You have previously tried to install the app. Basically it already exists and there’s a conflict, and hence dpkg throws you an error because it cannot rewrite it. How to fix? The best way to fix this problem is to completely uninstall and remove all previous instances of the app. That means uninstalling via Cydia and also going in and manually removing the app files if necessary from the iWep Pro folder. You could also try the following commands: dpkg --force-depends -i thenameofthefile.deb to install and dpkg --force-depends -r nameofpackage to remove. If you finish with with Result Code 512 error message? It means that the file/s are in use. Probably Cydia is running, try closing Cydia in the background and try installing again. Try again and success means you end up with result code 0. iExplorer & No Access to Root Issues Hey, when i try to drag in the files to the iExplorer folder it says: Strange error that I have never come across you still need root access, try afc2add or another app similar to iExplorer, you can think outside the box and use dropbox with iFile also. Changing the preferences to this also: View attachment 73 Allow access to "real" root. Requires a Jailbroken iPhone with AFC2Add Say thanks to Fabius for bringing you this for free Other Download Links iFile 1.6.1.3 deb iExplorer (Windows) iExplorer (Mac) Older Versions 4.1.3: Multiupload 4.1.2: Multiupload 4.1.1: Multiupload 4.0.6: Multiupload 3.2.1: Multiupload 3.1.9: Multiupload 3.1.8: Multiupload 3.1.7: Multiupload 3.1.5.1: Multiupload 1.1.4: 4Shared 1.1.0: 4Shared 1.0.8: 4Shared
Hi I got all the dicionaries installed and everything and i dont get a single router that is supported, not even the wlan ones
screenshot? are they like this: wlanXXXX, wlanXXXXX will not work for instance. What are the first 6 digits of the MAC address XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX you are trying to crack?
Hi, I got all the dictionaries installed, then i go to the app Iwep Pro, then settings and then the option "Dictionaries" but it just says "at this moment, you just can download dictionaries from the web link you can find below this lines" - then a link to iwasoski's page - but the link is down... it's ok? are the dictionaries installed? or what should i do...?
um attached files. they are right there, can't you see? :snap If there is there are green ticks in Cydia that means they are installed. Please attach a screenshot to see what the errors are. If it does not work be sure to delete all the dictionary files as well as any earlier iWep Pro version. Then reinstall them all.
Hi, I installed iWep Pro 5.01 and I am not getting any SCAN screen. I also click on Settings and Register Application and enter 123 for PayPal. Please check attached pic. for more understanding. Please advice. Thanks JR
The app is validated. It tells you so. I am not sure why there are no networks. I do not have an ipad but you should have two pages. 1 for supported networks and one for unsupported. There should also be a refresh button. Did you respring your device when you installed it? I would suggest reinstalling it.
Hi Adrian, Thanks for your quick response. iPad 1 with iWep Pro 4.1.3 works fine but not 5.0 or 5.0.1. I will check with my iPhone 4 and get back to you. Thanks again JR
Hello, I am using iWPA application and use Scan and copy and paste my own WiFi MAC address to Fastweb -1- empty block cell and pressed get Key! and I get following key: 706f626762. I know what exactly my WiFi key for my own router but this above key is not correct. Do I need to convert to get right WiFi password? I am sorry for the confusion and questions. Any help to understand will be appreciated. Thanks, JR
Hex and ASCII keys should both work when you enter them. The ASCII key is pobgb. Is that correct? You can use the following online converter to switch between the two.
Hi, Thanks for the quick response, However, my real WiFi key is 1234567890AaBb so I am not sure why this iWPA has produce false key, this is confused me. Thanks again, JR
Is it the default password? I have not used iWPA so I am not sure how well it works. If the routers is quite new the less chance the app would be successful. Are there any online tools you can use to look up FastWeb routers?
Ok everything worked perfectly with my installation, but when it finds all supported networks none of the keys connects with that networks. Do dictionaries need update?
What type of networks are we talking about? You have to remember that this app is losing its effectiveness. When the algorithm was cracked many years ago it worked 80% of the time. The media has picked up on these types of routers and in Australia recently it was a big story (a late one too), the developer of iWep Pro was contacted by some big networks and expressed the issue. BigPond use Thomson routers everywhere! All this awareness means that security is tightened. It was great where I lived in a small quiet residential area and had 3 networks I could connect to through my WiFi adapter. You will find that the larger the area the more likely networks have been attacked resulting in people changing the default password. Best thing to do is go wardriving, warwalking or whatever your preference is. Also use a stumbler app like WiFi-Where to plot the networks on a map, then strategically visit the networks that seem vulnerable. Also be aware that this app will not work with routers made late 2011 and in 2012. I will also add that I have never been able to crack a DLink router with this app. Also remember that the iPhone has a low power WiFi chip and you are not going to be able to hack wifi at long distances. Apps like these are cracking not hacking apps, big difference. If the password does not work with one network, move on and try another. It might take you 1, 2, 3 or 15 attempts for it to work, but be persistent and be sure you have a strong signal. Or get the big guns out Xiaopan OS and an RTL8187L device. In Oz, but not sure about other countries, you also have Police wardriving, knocking on doors of people with poor security on their WiFi, saying hey secure it dummy. See this article.
Ok i see what you mean and i can understand the reason why this app can't access these networks. I currently found Supported networks such as ''SpeedTouch'', ''CYTA''.
Try this web application and post a screenshot, are the dictionaries installed? are you sure of this? In other news. iWep pro 5.0.2 download is available, will post asap.
When i try to put in the dictionary files a message saying : And then a "Yes" and "Cancel" button. Whats wrong
