The amd r7 aren't easy to set up really you might have to go for one of the later os mavericks or yosemite.
Distro is like niresh a pirated copy of osx with patches included trouble is most patches are from old versions of osx or just not needed.
No need to buy any sound card your's will work fine with patched kext.

Clover and chameleon are bootloader's clover at the moment is quite actively developed and in my opinion is a better bootloader.

Switch to igpu in bios. Give it a few minutes to boot. You will get to the login screen.

Probably, I don't have that graphics card so...not sure.

Use the Intel HD. Change it to iGPU 64mb in BIOS for now.

I have a ASUS Z77-A which I can't update the bios with the patched one from PMPatch due to the "Security Verification Failed" error. I'm not seeing anything on my board with flashback support.

    Any suggestions?

My motherboard doesn't support flashback either. Which is why I did it manually with PMPatch. Got the error but somehow got it to work. So long ago.

    @Hack24

Just realised PMPatch has become obsolete. UEFI Patch is what you want.
    http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285444-uefipatch-uefi-patching-utility/

You can bypass verification with FlashTool Kit FTK Tool.
    http://forums.overclockers.ru/viewtopic.php?p=9776728#p9776728

Or downgrade to the oldest BIOS version without the security verification feature then upgrade to the latest.

    I am currently on 2501 :)

    Steps to Reproduce
    1. Download / install old v1502 BIOS
    2. Patch the latest bios with UEFIPatch in Terminal
    Code:
    Select All
    /UEFIPatch P8Z77-V-LX-ASUS-2501.CAP
    3. Install patched BIOS via FTK8 v0.11 DOS or try via EZ Flash
