Can someone try new unifi default password with this handshake? I've got no idea what's the new default password pattern for unifi, tried 8 numeric pass, 8numeric + abc and reaver(It seems like DIR615 is invulnerable to reaver attacks) but no luck with it, any help will be appreciated ESSID : batu.lesung@unifi BSSID : B8:A3:86:B3:3A:E8 Country : Malaysia Manufacturer : D-Link Model : DIR-615
Sorry but nothing came up after testing against 8 and 9 digits, Malaysian phone numbers and my word lists.
I don't think that the previous "default" password for Unifi was really a default password as it was set by the technicians installing the cable modem/wireless router instead of the manufacturer. This was done because the WPS pin was printed at the back of the wireless router and easy for the customer to refer to it. If anybody here knows what the installers like to use now, kindly share with us. --- Double Post Merged, 18 Dec 2015, Original Post Date: 17 Dec 2015 --- Sorry but nothing came up after testing against 8 and 9 digits, Pakistan phone numbers, and my word lists. --- Double Post Merged, 18 Dec 2015 --- batu.lesung@unifi:b8a386b33ae8:fce998710297:LESUNG79
@gearjunkie, great job! Been trying for days. May I ask what dictionary you used that contains the word "LESUNG"?
Spoke too soon, used a web crawler I made. Turned up in German dictionaries. Google translate claims it means "reading"
Definitely will try diff dictionary languages in the future. *Cheers* Hummmm I think I have some old unifi caps that I was never able to crack. Let me give this new algorithm a shot on those
