How much time to try all of those wordlist ? and what's your PC specifications ? & what are the specs do you recommend to run hashcat at highest level ? and thank you for your help
My 20GB+ wordlist and the 10 digit rule takes the most time. I think i can run through everything in about 3-7 hours but majority of the time i get a hit way before that. I dont have a dedicated GPU rig yet, only in my dreams right now. I want 3-4 1080TI's just for doing "stuff" like this. My current rig is just a corsair one with a water cooled 1080TI. Just slightly overclocked because why not. The only time my GPU goes over 50c is when i have the windows open in my room and the ambient temperature is 27c ish. For the highest levels, are you talking about workload profiles? (-w 1-4) ect. This all depends on your GPU. My old laptop had a GTX 970 and -w 2 would make YouTube lag. I have a 4 screen setup now and i can have hashcat running on -w 4 and still play rimworld and runescape just fine lol Doubt i could play something like wildlands while cracking though. tend to stay away from GPU intense games while cracking. Hope this helps a little
