Image checksum error... looks like a corrupted or incomplete iso. download it again from links privided in the first post and try again. if still failing, please fill a support request form here: https://xiaopan.co/forums/index.php?forms/support-request-form.1/respond
Got a solution on the above Message. Get a "normal" file archiver! Don't use Windows internal one...! RTL8818RU seems working!
which link do you recommend? because I choose putlocker and checksum MD5 ISO and ZIP is correct, but when I run the CD it says "bootloader checksum error" and in a virtual machine I get the same error posted by labidu.
Thanks for feedback dude Geek adding RTL8188RU to Xiaopan 0.4.4 compatibility list --- Double Post Merged, 24 Jan 2013, Original Post Date: 24 Jan 2013 --- What settings are you selecting in Virtual Box? also are you using VB latest version?
I will explain everything I did. First, I downloaded from putlocker and then checked for correct MD5 checksum for both ZIP and ISO, they were correct. Second, I burned the ISO for booting it in my PC and get this error (checksum file). Then I decided to download VMware (last one) and install it to repit the process, I config it to boot from ISO but then I got the same screen that labidu. Came here, posted my previous comment and started to download from 4shared. Repit all the whole process but I get the same errors. It looks like and ISO cheksum error (but the two MD5 posted here are correct for the 2 files I downloaded from putlocker and 4shared). What can I do now?
Do you burned the iso in a CD or USB, if USB do you burned it with LiLi USB Creator https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/usb-live-tutorial.204/ ?
I burned to CD using CDBurnerXP (putlocker) and PowerISO (4shared), I will try by USB. --- Double Post Merged, 24 Jan 2013 --- by usb it boots correctly and support ralink-2570 (MsI usb54g ms-6861) and atheros ath9k (tp-link tl-wn722n). This last one doesn't work before to me it's glad to know it works perfect now. thank you fantasma =) just don't forget to support or guide CD burning. Regards, badtzo.
Burn in slower speeds to avoid reading problems. Also make sure your CD/DVD is not a cheap disc bought for .20cents
Those who are having issues, I had the same thing. I did everything correctly. 1. Format USB to FAT32 in Windows 2. Extract the zip in Windows 3. Used LiLi USB Creator (Latest) with @Fantasma's Tutorial https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/usb-live-tutorial.204/ 4. Virtualised the Key with VirtualBox 5. It did not work. I shut down VirtualBox and closed LiLi. I had to repeat the above process 1 - 4 (with the exact same file) exactly how I did in the first instance.... and the second time I was successful. Seems like something might be happening when it gets 'extracted' on USB, but that is my theory. So take my advice and at least try twice and as brutal123 suggests try a different archiver / extractor like WinRAR or 7zip. The ZIP was created with Windows 7 64 bit default archiver.
There is a new CD Burning tuto by Amkay in Resources thread: https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/xiaopan-live-cd-tutorial.2576/#post-7995 Maybe it can be the issue Mr. Penguin
RTL8188RU a.k.a AWUS036NHR is fully working with full TX Rate Power 33dBm 2000mW 0.4.4 for the win. and I had no problem with live usb. just use LiLi, and you are up in a few seconds
Of course I burned it in slow speed (16x) I don't know if it must be slower, even I used the mounted ISO on VB as I explained. But it doesn't matter right now, by USB works perfectly. Thanks again for you help guys!
Before make a question like that, you can use the Search box. But answering your question, see here: https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/usb-live-tutorial.204/
