yes i have successfully performed wep/wpa attacks using feeding bottle on xiaopan 0.4.3 and on earlier versions many times. however i broke my adapter before i could try it with reaver, haven't had time to fix it yet (the soldering of the left antenna node came off due to the weight of the antennas i was using). what i can say is the first test in cracking speed difference i performed had 8187L finish in 3min and 8187B finish the same test in 22min(all other variables being equal). I wanted to post my results for Mr. Penguin but it's inconclusive because I only ran 1 test and started with 8187B.
I think RT 8187 L is the best for WEP crackin by the way the best USB wifi adapter are ( ALFA ) ..and the others are all chienese bullshit
Why because they cost the most? I have had 3 ALFA, sold 1 to a friend, 1 was super weak so I sold it and the other died in a few months. I won't be getting anymore unless I get them for free.
