Tested 0.4.5 with Alfa RTL8187, Signalking RT3070 and Atheros AR9285. Minidweb-gtk and Beini all good. Had problem with inflator, somehow it gives me 0APs even with different options during scanning. Later I installed the same version of inflator into BT5R3, tested with the same cards at the same position and its working good.

Well look here: Xiaopan 0.4.2 and here: Xiaopan 0.4.5 If you are really keen you can compare the files in each ISO and put them in a table. Hearing a lot about this.... maybe wash isn't working. You have to wait 5 seconds and click the yellow skip button normally. Can you be more specific please? You can click on the votes for 0.4.5 and it will tell you who voted. I guess there are so many variables. Hardware, user experience, how you run it, how many versions someone has tried, more WEP / WPS dominant areas etc. If everyone had the same hardware and ran it the same I am sure you will see more of a specific version being a favourite.
0.4.5 feels faster from boot to general responsiveness, thanks guys. However, I notice some funny attitude like some other guys, no WPS flags for WPS-enabled APs in either minidwep or inflator (they do show up when booting running 0.4.4 on the same hardware) minidwep feels faster in the scan/deauth/crack process but about half of the times will lock the laptop in 100% cpu usage, and eventually crash it (minidwep Abort/Exit buttons unresponsive, Reboot/Shutdown buttons unresponsive) Off topic: -does anyone else run xiaopan live in laptop? besides the "laptop" boot option is there any other usefull extension? The temperature sensors do not seem to be working. -is there any useful log in tinycore? where does it log things?
VM or LIVE? When you say no WPS flags do you mean it works when the device is connected before booting into 0.4.4? You can use lm-sensors in the repo but would be a good option to have a laptop mode with battery listed as well Great idea. There is a log command but I forgot what it was.. Sorry shoulda been clearer -All testing of xiaopan is done Live from USB via grub4dos, all bare metal, no virtual toys -After scanning, minidwep lists the available APs and adds a _wps thingy for the ones that are WPS-enabled Will give lm-sensors a go and see what gives, thanks Mr. P. Gonna do some more testing before I vote.
