I will try and add it to the Dev build, if all goes well it will be included in the final release. ~Aby$m.
Aby$m Mr. Penguin ..this is my idea..hope it usefull...how about you put notepad in desktop or in the dock? in the notepad you already write some example comand for those who wantto use manual way..eg: MINITOR MODE airmon-ng start wlanX(wlan0, wlan1 etc) SCANNING airodump-ng mon0 Pyrit, reaver, crunch, etc....
Good idea Crackerz Wave I also think if it has a browser might be a good idea to have various links in the shortcuts bar. Aircrack Xiaopan Forums Reaver at Google code wifite anywlan.com pyrit etc. Similar to what was there in 0.4.3. Aby$m any thoughts on publishing some packages to the TCZ repo?
I will include the websites you've specified as bookmarks. FYI: The browser is Firefox 18 with Flash 11 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I 'v complied a-lot of new .tcz for this project, it would take me a long time to follow proper protocol for publishing all of them. ~Aby$m.
Firefox Bookmarks Bar (fill the entire length and put the rest in a folder called Other?) and whatever other bookmarks you can think of Not sure of the order of these either. sy <- Jesus Christ How many mb is this beast? In future (4 - 6 months) I am thinking about Xiaopan Forums having our own IRC channel so Pidgin might come in handy, after a few releases: http://xenforo.com/community/resources/8wayrun-com-xenhabla-irc.100/
Maybe not the best distro for my old thinkpad 333mhz with 128mb of ram lol You have been busy Aby$m you might want to have a look at openbox it's a much nicer window manager, also you can install apps ondemand to reduce the ram usage.
Yeah, I really like openbox from SliTaz, I should test it on TCL, I like Sakura terminal too, but when I installed with the current WM it looked shocking. I never contemplated installing openbox, I was in such a mad rush to get everything everyone-else wanted working, that I didn't even think about what I wanted working, hopefully it looks good in TCL. ~Aby$m.
Openbox works fine you can download it from the repository for terminal i use stjerm just press f12 for quake like terminal "you have to point it to bash at setup doesn't like ash"
If you do I suggest you update the compat-wireless, minidwep and any others you think would be of benefit in 0.4.3
I found a way to save the session for reaver, when booting from USB. By adding the following paths in Code: Select All /opt/.filetool.lst Code: Select All tmp/minidwep/ (saves wps pin, wpc and log files) Code: Select All tmp/Inflator/ Code: Select All tmp/FeedingBottle/ Code: Select All usr/local/etc/ (saves files for reaver, I don't know if this path is necesary) The backup utility of tiny core saves the files in those paths in mydata.tgz on the usb drive. In order for this to work the backup options in the shutdown menu must be set to backup or safe. Over time mydata.tgz becomes larger so the boot is slower. I would suggest to the developers to modify /opt/.filetool.lst in the next release to include these paths. I would also like to thank the developers for this wonderful live cd.
I think you will have to backup before closing miniwep not sure about feeding bottle ect when you close it clears temp folder. Not always a good idea to back up your temp some of my captures are a few gigs once you strip handshake's ect gets the size down to a few meg, easier to restore that. You will be ok with reaver, this is not cleaned up.
I didn't test feeding bottle, but taking into consideration that the temp folder might get to a few gigs i think it shouldn't be added to the backup. For me Inflator doesn't work when scanning wifis so I couldn't test it either. I tested minidwep with reaver and works perfectly. I added inflator and feeding bottle paths on the assumptions that their temp folder is a few kbytes.
