I even get this issue even in BackTrack at times. Probably a limitation of the AP you are trying to hack and / or your Reaver settings.

    • Some have noted to change your mac address with macchanger. The router may have protection enabled.
Mine worked with some APs after changing it.

    Code:
    Select All
    macchanger -r wlan0
    • You might be too far from the AP (obvious solution is to move closer or adjust antenna.
    • The hardware of some APs are not very good, low cache, low memory.
    • Upgrade the firmware on your router and the AP

    • Play around with the -d command:

Start at -d 15, then move higher until you stop receiving 0x02 and 0x03 errors

    • Use -no hacks
    • Try the following commands

    Code:
    Select All
    run: aireplay-ng mon0 -1 120 -a XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX -e network name then: reaver -i mon0 -A -b XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX -c X -vv --no-nacks --win7
    • You may have to physically reset the router or ask your neighbour to reset it
    • Is it a Netgear router you are trying to get into? Check the first XX:XX:XX

I met the same problem too, with error code 0x02 and some times 0x03.
The mac address of my target router starts with 00:26:5A:XX:XX:XX, how can I check whether it is a Netgear router?

Hello Rili Toma, wondering where you disappeared to :D

That my friend is a D-Link Router, heaps of websites that you can lookup the MAC to get the OUI, including:

    Online
    Coffer.com
    Arul John's MAC Address Lookup
    MacVendorLookup
    Wireshark even :)

    iPhone
    MacLookUp

Thank you Mr.Penguin, I'm constantly visiting xiaopan forum and dishingtech in the weekend but just appearing offline most of the time. :D

Hmm.. It seems like my target router is vulnerable to WPS attack, but it constantly gives me 0x02, 0x03 errors after a few PINs tested. Weird.
I'll play around with the no-hacks, -d command and see if the errors still occur. Geek

No. I'm sorry I'm not a BackTrack user and therefore I'm not familiar with it. :/
Can I use that command in XiaoPanOS?

Whats your signal strength seems slow for good signal ?? What router is it ? I get this a lot with push button routers try the -N switch, also set the channel with the -c switch. Also make sure nothing is interfering with your card with
    Code:
    Select All
    airmon-ng check kill

You shouldn't be hacking your neighbours wifi. The only thing i can suggest is read the reaver help with the basic commands you use you will be lucky to crack anything. As i said the -N switch also -d try different values for this.
