Dear Longo that was my bad to say that because of being new in WPA/WPA2 hacking, yes routers use 8 digit pins not 10 digits. I don't know the difference between Reaver Attack & Dictionary Attack 1) Reaver Attack: (Did reaver pro work faster? & how many Percents % we can be sure that reaver will break into wireless) its trying to match router pins and when pin get match its giving us the password, (I tried and got successful in 6-7 hours "Personal Network") 2) Dictionary Attack I have some questions about dictionary attack A) my office network name is MBT ROSE (all caps) i created a new password calling 0501234567. I done made file 050XXXXXXX i boot my system with Live USB --> i went to minidwep-gtk --> i scan the wireless near me --> then i click on lunch --> after collecting packets it asked me for a file as you showed me the tutorial (By Mr. Penguin) --> i selected file name 050XXXXXXX from another mounted usb --> it started working and i waited for at least 1 hour --> as 1 hour was passed i saw figures going up to "0502345678" but my password was "0501234567" why didn't it stopped and said password is found??? could you please help me? B) The list we are creating by L517 is password guesses or pins for routers? Hi! Is it possible to connect to AP with PIN-code using Xiaopan only? By other words, how to connect to AP under unix with PIN (not password!!!)? The point is that i see AP with Xiaopan, but do not see it with Windows. And i know pin code only. Help, please.
I am afraid you cannot connect using WPS in Xiaopan Longo. Same as in Mac OS X. Now if you know the pin you should specify it in Inflator to reveal the passphrase / hex. -p xxxxxxxx
Thanks, Mr. Penguin. I done it few times. Each time inflator and minidwep showed 64-characters password. Each time different. It is mean that owner of AP never used WPS function (100% info. Cheked!) In this case need to connect to AP with pin code one time at list. And after that AP will sent password in normal mode. My problem is i can not see AP with Windows(AP is too far from me). in my opinion, Windows driver of my wi-fi card (AWUS036H) does not allow to use the full Tx-power, but with unix drivers can emit full power. Sorry for long post. May be is different solutions of my problem?
