    Hi All Professional

I'm from Malaysia. I need some help or advise here as I know now Unifi has change to the new router is it? Before that is using D-Link DIR-615 but now I saw TM Unifi has change to new router but I don't know what's the brand and model number. I use Xiaopan + reaver 4.22 and 4.23 try to hack WPA or WPA2 seem like doesn't work. Do you guy got any software can hack WPA, WPA2 or hack Unifi new router?
Please advise and sharing information here.
I apologies for my bad English and if I posting at wrong section

    Thank you.

This question was asked in the shoutbox about 10 days ago and is probably in the shoutbox archives . Unfortunately I am not from Malaysia but I think I remember who discussed it. I am going to tag some people who can assist you further.

You can lookup the MAC address of the router you want to attack. There are heaps of tools online that can look this up for you. That will determine what brand of router but not the model. For that you need to hack it and log into the localhost. Typically 192.168.0.1.

I'm very new to this but so far i've be able to burn the reaver pro .iso to the DVD, boot it on my desktop. Now the wireless icon has a "!" and clicking on it, it shows "wireless networks - Disconnected".

    1. Does this mean that my network adapter is not supported?

    2. If it is supported, how do i scan for wireless connection?

    3. How successful is reaver pro on WPA2 security?

Again, sorry for going OT from the original post. Just a newbie trying to learn ;)

I've read somewhere that unifi has upgraded the router's firmware so dont waste your time using reaver.all you cant do now is with dict attacks for unifi.just pray that the owner hasnt change the default password (8 digits).. U may succeed

About 2 years ago I was able to hack my neighbour's wifi password with ease using Alfa adapter AWUS036H, Backtrack 5.
Then 3 weeks ago all of sudden I cannot use the wifi. I tried to hack again using the same method but was unsuccessful. It keep re-trying the 12345670 pin over and over again.
I noticed 3 notable fail transaction.....

! WPS transaction failed (code: 0x02), re-trying last pin
    • Trying pin 12345670
! WPS transaction failed (code: 0x03), re-trying last pin
    • Trying pin 12345670
! WPS transaction failed (code: 0x04), re-trying last pin
    • Trying pin 12345670

I thought its becos of the adaptor so I bought a new AWUS036NHR but still unsuccessful.

Can someone shed some light on this.

    Your neighbour has
    1) changed there password to stop you leeching there internet
2)updated there firmware to stop people using reaver
3)may have mac filtering to stop people using it's network
