Most bt homehubs i've come across are wps enabled but are push button so reaver is useless against it.
The default key is usually 10 digits long containing 0-9 a-f usually lower case letters.

For the sale price, its a nice addition. I'm just not sure if I would have ever paid full price.

If Terry and the reaversystems guys want to sell more at full price, I think they should add a wep and macchanger to the gui.

It runs on openwrt there is a lot of stuff that can be added through ssh on that hardware and run through the command line.

If you telnet into it, you can create a password then you can use ssh, after that there is a ton of stuff that could be installed through opkg. im almost sure the usb could be used to store packages, just like the old wifi pineapple Mark IV. (Not the new Mark V) even have it use a 3g/4g dongle to be able to connect to it remotely.

I have yet to add anything, mainly because I cant seem to find a way to flash back to factory settings if something messes up. Sure I can do that in the gui, but what if I cant get into the gui? Maybe a hard 30/30/30 reset might do it.
If I could get conformation on how to reflash, I would start playing with it.

I'm hoping the community here might start testing different things that could be added to make it a bit more useful.

I got mine at the $74 sale (thank you xiaopan, and reaversystems) and I am happy with my purchase.

The hardware is a small step above the old wifi pineapple Mark IV but basically is the Mark IV , so if the reaversystem guys or some one here tried, lots of interesting things could be done with the reaver pro hardware.

I have tested it on the routers I have and it has worked well, and as advertised.

But so much more could be done with it, and they would sell more if they add more features. ( and maybe sold it for $99)

I'm not complaining though, like I said I got mine at a reasonable price, and the product works as advertised.

Reaver Pro unable to Hacking WPA/WPA2 , don't be stupid to order this device
i bought it unable to attack even 1 network. it's useless device.
this is what support reply me
Reaver Pro is a tool that tests WiFi Protected Setup (WPS). This is a security feature that makes WPA2 easy to use. Reaver Pro does NOT crack WEP or WPA/WPA2. It only cracks WPS if (1) the device supports WPS and (2) WPS is turned on.
We do NOT advertise this tool as a way to get FREE internet. That is ILLEGAL!

This is true, it is designed for professional-grade WiFi security testing.
That is true. Not only WPA2, but it can be WPA/WPA2/WEP networks that are WPS enabled.

Also note that this device is extremely hackable and many features and improvements can be added at your request, such as a WEP cracker or WPA dictionary attack. Support : Feature Requests these updates / firmware flashes will be free.

I think it's vastly overpriced $199 for just hacking wps, most updated firmware has figured out reaver or use's push button wps might have been worth the sale price for the hardware.
The wifi pineapple is half the price, no need to hack it for usb support, wpa wep ect, although i wouldn't fancy doing a dictionary atack with a 400mhz cpu (can take a couple of days using a couple of gpu's so work it out) but good for capturing handshakes and data.

Just reaver, reaver pro is closed source.
If you like hacking about with hardware you can use a modified wr703n to run wifi pineapple for about a quarter the price.
Same spec as the reaver pro and wifi pineapple mine cost £14 done the mods upgraded ram rom ect myself, but you can buy modified ones for £25 :) .

I wonder if you could flash Reaver Pro II to a WiFi Pineapple? since it uses the same unit previously used by hak5. AP121U.

Think so but you most probably need to flash via serial also might need to upgrade rom and ram?

Although i say can run wifi pineapple my wr703n runs a patched pineapple kernel probably need to patch the kernel for the AP121u and turn off auto updates when you install the pineapple gui otherwise it bricks it.
