Thanks Did not see it there --- Double Post Merged, 21 Jan 2014 --- i have tried to live boot this from a dvd and it almost worked but then got stuck so i burnt it again on a different brand dvd ad it did not work at all. what is the best way for me to get this to work? help and tutorial/link would be great thanks guys

Nothing wrong with your LiveDVD mate, its a graphic issue with XiaopanPRO. @Mr. Penguin is working on it. From your black screen after login, try "CTRL+ALT+F1" to get into TTY1. Run "sudo su" to get root access then "startx". You will get into Desktop GUI (default). You can start testing all those programs that has been installed. Good luck with it

By default it should Maybe you should try LiveUSB instead of DVD. Always find DVDs to be damn slow for live OS
that was not from dvd or usb i was using VirtualBox mayb it was because windows was also using the alfa card?..i use my alfa card for wifi as normal,as signal is weak where my computer is. how do i get it to boot from a live usb? thanks
