thanks mr.P i will try it after a little nap if i get it going i will keep it and compress it to the iso we are working on =)
did you ever get it to work in kali? if so what file did you use? Also I am using kali 1.0.2. i keep getting an error when i do try and install it the first string cannot be found. i.e this one "sudo apt-get install libssl0.9.8" i was using the ubuntu 32 bit deb
Josh1218 man i do find it working on Kali Linux, don't go through commands if you don't know 1) Download Minidwep-gtk 40420 for Ubuntu 32bit 2) Place the file on desktop / anywhere else 3) Open up the terminal & type Code: Select All dpkg -i FILE NAME Example: dpkg -i minidwep-gtk 40420 32bit.deb 4) Press Enter & Voila
You don't need "libssl0.9.8" for Kali. Just download and install as described by ecrudragon After installing, open up a terminal, type Code: Select All minidwep-gtk then hit enter, minidwep-gtk should be running by now
thank you. for your help I got it to work, and yes I'm new at this stuff lol. also with Kali u need to use cd /tmp and then do dpkg -i minidwep-gtk 40420 32bit.deb. the only issue I have now is that it is not showing wps at the end of my wifi signal.
i had problems extracting latest version finally i downloaded it from SF http://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaopanos/files/Minidwep 40420/ thanx 4 this great tool have a nice day all
Don't be lazy, google for "how to bla bla bla" most of the time it will give you an answer and do read all posts in a thread. Its there in this page written by ecrudragon
hii i've install minidwepbut when run its tell me that no wireless card found, it running good when i run from usb
1) Where do you install this minidwep? Live or VM? 2)If VM and u are planning to use internal card for this..sorry it will not detect (unless there a new version) 3)If VM and using external adapter..does your card supported? If yes, try plug it in after your os boot (show the desktop) 4)If live, and using internal card..it didnt show..install compat-wireless and reboot 5)If live, using external..try to plug the card after show desktop...if cant install compat-wireless
Which one do I download for Fedora? I am using Fedora 20 64 bit with a ath5 wireless card. I don't see a RPM to download, and I am not sure which one to download if I have to configure/make/make install
