Greetings, can anyone help with the following? 1. ESSID.......: dapbentong2013 BSSID.......: 2C:AB:25:C2:59:27 STMAC.......: 3C:33:00:24:6C:CC Router : SHENZHEN GONGJIN ELECTRONICS CO.,LT Handshakes..: 5 GPUhashme : Cracked with basic search. WPS not enabled. 2. ESSID.......: PersatuanGuangxi@unifi BSSID.......: 7C:8B:CA:6F:19:6F STMAC.......: E4:47:90:F4:C2:1E Handshakes..: 2 Router: TP-LINK TECHNOLOGIES CO.,LTD. GPUhashme : Failed with basic search. WPS is however, on but it will take too long on my computer to try and crack it. If the wps key can be identified I can try and attack manually with the key. 3. ESSID.......: YES4MOE-A (handshake quality is low on this - 45%) BSSID.......: 1C:49:7B:8D:69:4C STMAC.......: 7C:B0:C2:C6:58:5E Handshakes..: 1 Router: Gemtek Technology Co., Ltd. GPUhashme : Failed with basic search. WPS not enabled. Thank you in advance.
Thank you @longshanks , I am wondering if you have any youtube links for me to try and do this myself the next time, using whatever method? Also, if you could shed some light, any idea how fast a GTX 1080 will crack these? Thank you again.
Do you have kali linux installed into a hard drive? thats the first step. I use a GTX 1060 6GB card on my rig, as you can see in the picture i posted, it only took 6 seconds to crack (just luck really) it also depends on password list's, alot of it is just luck sometimes. a GTX 1080 would be abit faster than my card, using hashcat max speed is about 220,000 keys a second.as you can see on the pic it was doing 224,000 keys a second when it stopped. first of all i use kali linux installed on a HDD, with cuda toolkit and nvidia driver. using hashcat. i'll look around for some links for you. @longshanks Not at the moment but i can look around for some old HDD to do so. I currently have Kali and Parrot on my pendrive, if its better to install, Ill try and work it out. Will you also be able to share the dictionaries which you have? Thank you for the links mate, will try it out once i get my stuff.
To install nvidia drivers, kali must be installed into a HDD not a pendrive, the persistence has some issues with it, it just black screens when you reboot it. --- Double Post Merged, 23 Apr 2018, Original Post Date: 19 Apr 2018 --- as for sharing dictionaries, i'm not uploading 300gb for anybody, you will have to search the web for your self and download and compile them as you see fit
It depends on what type of attack you are doing and based on some luck I suppose. 1080 will give you a little over 400 kH/s @ stock You don't need Kali to use Hashcat either...
well try to crack these 2 pls. try a custom wordlist of cell numbers, they should be like 05xxxxxxxx. if no luck there then a 8 digit numeric list would probably be the one.
@longshanks Thank you for the tips and with regards to the wordlists, yea i can see why since its so huge! @cracked Well, I'm open to learn and am all ears so long as you're willing to teach. So fire away and share more? Also, do either of you know if Ryzen will have issues with any of these process of cracking?
Hello. Can u help me with these two. https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=oclhashcat https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=frequently_asked_questions Should be enough info to get you going. Cracking WPA is resource intensive, so using CPU isn't sufficient. AMD is also trash for cracking. Caps are good, don't listen to noobs. Telecentro-5750:tele-3246308
@cracked yea, will be using a GPU too since from what I understand it does most of the heavy lifting. That being said, I guess the CPU doesnt really matter that much? Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you for the FAQ' @my house Depending on what wireless card you have, might want to consider using Beini, which has been much easier. Just remember different versions may or may not work with your card. I've been using it and prefer the noob friendly side of it (since it requires some typing and commands on other OS'). Hope this helps? About the bugs, maybe see if github has it reported already or somewhere else. --- Double Post Merged, 29 Apr 2018, Original Post Date: 29 Apr 2018 --- Hello again, could someone help with the following? ESSID: Lostworld@unifi BSSID: 7C:8B:CA:EC:FB:5F Router: TP-LINK TECHNOLOGIES CO.,LTD Country: Malaysia GPUhash.me : Cracked using basic search Thank you in advance
I have searched in github but nobody reported about the issue and I am sure that is not my card issue
