You say you got the pins from dummper, are you sure the pins are correct?
must be wrong pins. A good script is vmr mdk. Real easy if you install Lazysript first. :sneaky:
repost new handshakes without cleaning them.

Analyzing with pyrit returns 7 handshakes, 6 good / 1 bad. I found a thread on the forum that seems to have great success with these routers default password, with a mask that consists of "adjective + noun + ###". If anyone is familiar with the dictionary used on this and could give it a go that would be sweet, or even better help me with the the command to set the proper mask to crack it myself with hashcat as I have a decent GPU. I'm willing to contribute to this thread and begin helping the cause with the audits, ultimately I would like to script a project that grabs caps and info from posts in this thread to add it to an automated task.. but i'm feeling lazy, needy, and would love to get some help for this one for now, would rather have the mask command help than the actual decrypted phrase, but i would not object to having it cracked! thank you guys, this board seems like a great resource! never heard of xiaopan, have been researching and learning with parrot and kali for a year or so on and offf.....

    TL;DR:

i need help with this cap file, i would equally appreciate help with the bash command for the proper mask as much as having it cracked for me.

preface: https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/netgearxx-wordlist.6571/page-14 <- this thread seems to have everything i need to do this myself but I'm going to reach out for help here as well.
    Code:
    Select All
    a) Format: default pass algo explained in above linked thead 2 words, capital case for each word im almost positive, and a few numbers b) Network Name: "MySpectrumWiFi68-2G" c) MAC Address: "a4:08:f5:30:59:6e" d) Country: US e) Router Model: Can't Determine, It's One of these: "https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/modems-routers-wireless-adapters/" I'm guessing it's either the Cisco dpc3000, cisco dpc3008, cisco dpc3010, or one of the motorola sb models f) Brand:undetermined, read above
