It works with mine, same device as you guys. I have personally tested it in Parallels Desktop and VirtualBox. All I can say is: • Upgrade to the latest virtualisation software you are using • Use a fresh, unmodified ISO • Play around with closing Minidwep, Inflator etc, unplugging and plugging your device in. (mine did not work, i had to close the apps down and unplug the cable then replug the cable in and open the apps) • Make sure it is connected to your VM • If that all fails give me as much info as you can in the way of screenshots.
i have download Xiaopan 0.4.2.3 | English Version & install to a usb to run it but xiaopan wont detect my card. (Atheros AR9285) *No wifi device found using beini 1.2.4 or 1.2.5 can detect my wifi device and manage to decode wpe key can u enlighent me in which file is the wifi driver compile in so i can copy from beini to over-wright it or teach me how to update the ath9k driver. thanks in advance ktgoh ps: respect to u to continue to contribute for all wifi fan
Atheros cards had some driver issues in Xiaopan 0.4.2.2 & 0.4.2.3, some users tried replacing the compat-wirelees module from Xiaopan 0.4.1 to 0.4.2.3 and they says it works. I recommend you try Xiaopan 0.4.1
i have run usb live with Xiaopan 0.4.1 Minidwep-gtk 30419 , it can detect all my wifi chipset AR9285 & TP-link TL-WN7200ND v1.0 with RT3070 chipset. do hope u could repair the bug in 0.4.2.3 and looking forward to your latest release! thanks
There is a new minidwep version out, see here to download and compile it into Xiaopan, Beini or TCL -> Minidwep-GTK-30513.tcz, it will definitly be in the next release, going to release it early so we can get some feedback as to if it is stable and ultimately better :joy.
The new version xiaopanOS won't detect my card. (Atheros AR5B97) *No wifi device found But Version 0.3.8 does. some country (China etc.) blocked the upload website (www.mediafire.com etc.)
Thank you for the information, please use the support thread and the shoutbox as there are reasons why some versions are incompatible. Unfortunately we cannot afford a virtual private server that can handle direct downloads. Can you please provide us with potential file sharing hosts that are available to upload from the west and that can download in China as well as in other countries? You could use a proxy or VPN to bypass blocks.
It is already responded, Atheros cards has some driver issues in Xiaopan 0.4.2.2 & 0.4.2.3 but you can try 0.4.1, it run very well with the Atheros chipset

Thank you for letting us know and I am glad you figured out a way to bypass the blocks. You are more then welcome to upload them for us (if you could we will give you VIP Status). When I have a fast connection I will be creating some China mirrors if you cannot.
