Hello, been trying to get my hands on a copy of Silica too Let me know if you will be willing to share it publicly or just with me Ok, now you have vmdk parts. You need to combine them into one file to import it into VM. See the following: http://technonstop.com/convert-multiple-vmdks-to-one https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/import-convert-vmware-image-to-parallels.444/ http://sanbarrow.com/vmdk-basics.html Also if you can give us some file sizes too, we might be able to assist you further. Be careful where you post as this is a support request. Thank you and welcome to Xiaopan Forums

There is a person that got this to work in VMware Claude Garcia. Perhaps you could ask the video maker in that thread how he installed it? https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/silica-virtual-machine.3121/
Garcia, it is easy! Create normal Ubuntu machine. After that remove the hard disk u added first and add a new one hard disk from existing using Ubuntu 64-bit.vmdk Uploaded with ImageShack.us
