I downloaded some dictionary files from here: https://xiaopan.co/forums/forums/dictionary-password-wordlists.36/ and I am using xiaopan on virtual machine. Can I somehow use downloaded dic files from my hard drive or I need to integrate that files to iso, like here http://dishingtech.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-to-crack-wpa-wpa2-with-xiaopanos.html Please help!
Use the "Mount tool" to read files from your hard disk or just put your dict files in a Pendrive and mount it to xiaopan with the tool before described
There will be in about a week kazuya_mishima. It isn't hard. Have a go. This may assist you until then: Mr. Penguin's Guide to Hacking WPA / WPA2 with Xiaopan 0.4.5 + Minidwep + Password List
Thanks Mr Penguin, i follow the step suddenly i get stuck on step number 6, how can i add another dictionary into this. i just follow this step below... suddenly my 0.4.5 OS cannot start.: 1. Copy your iso image to backup 2. Open the copied iso image using UltraISO 3. Download (hexadecimal dictionary) or create a dictionary file word list 4. Put a .dic file in the tce or cde folder 5. Save the iso 6. Make a live USB or create a new virtual machine with your newly updated Xiaopan OS (Best) or Beini iso 7. Start XiaopanOS or Beini 8. Open minidwep-gtk 9. In the encryption box it is set to WEP by default, we want wash to pick up WPA / WPA2 only 10. Click Scan 11. After scan is completed select one network 12. Click launch 13. You need minidwep to capture the 4 way "WPA Handshake" When it does: 14. Click Dictionary Attack and navigate to the dic file you imported (in sr0)
Hello kazuya_mishima Unfortunately I do not have UltraISO but I used PowerISO. I just tested this and cannot replicate your checksum error. I used Xiaopan 0.4.5 1. Copied the ISO to my desktop 2. Opened it with PowerISO 3. Added a file called Password List.txt in the cde/optional folder 4. Saved it as a new ISO 5. Format (Not quick format) the USB 6. Follow Fantasma's method of creating a Live USB 7. Unplug the USB and plug it in after you are finished 8. Either run it Live or Virtualize This Key to run it in VirtualBox Guide: http://www.linuxliveusb.com/help/guide/using-lili Live USB Tutorial: https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/usb-live-tutorial.204/
Mr Penguin, i do as you say using with Power ISO, it also not working... how... :no this is the result after i running again with VMware Woekstation
1.Download a new copy of the Xiaopan 0.4.5. 2.I'm using WinISO http://www.winiso.com/support/tutorials/edit-iso.html 3.Open up the ISO with WinISO then navigate to cde/optional 4.Click "Add File" navigate to where your dictionary folder is then hit "open" 5.Hit "Save" and you are done! Create a LiveUSB with your modified ISO or you can run it tru VmWare.
I do as you say sir... I put the password.txt file in the cde/folder then save the iso file. Run it again with VMware the same thing happen... I still got the same message. what should i do sir...?

He keeps getting checksum errors and is no where near the stage of saving a handshake or adding a dictionary. I have not been able to replicate his error and a few of us have told him how to remaster the ISO. This is getting off topic, going to close this thread.
