Same question as tidbit, I like my alphas because of that fact ...it would be a shame if it doesn't support injection because these new ones are really cool looking. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
Has anyone tried the AWUS1900 with Kali Linux yet? Potentially on a Raspberry or Orange Pi as well? I understand this is a new product and it might not have gone through many reviews yet. In fact, I can't even find it on Amazon yet. Would appreciate any feedback at all. Thanks!

Does anybody here own such device? Wondering how does it perform besides the lack of injection currently.
Good news everyone. According to the aircrack forum AND the Alfa support blog there is now a working driver for monitor/injection. sources: https://forum.aircrack-ng.org/index.php/topic,1086.15.html http://alfanetworkinc.blogspot.de/2016/08/awus036ac-awus036ach-awus036eac-kali.html drivers: https://github.com/astsam/rtl8812au allegedly it works with both rtl8812AU & rtl8814AU chipsets, which is amazing! Even the brand-new AWUS1900 should work now. It would be great if someone on here could confirm that. According to my research only few official resellers have the AWUS1900 wifi adapter, being euroDK shop (based out of Latvia with expensive shipping) and Rokland in the US.
If you in Malaysia, you can buy it from Tung Network. I just bought 2 from him and already with my laptop. This adapter only support with Kali Linux.
You can try by following this thread. https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?36296-EXTREME-WIFI-SUPPORT-Alfa-Networks-AWUS1900-WORKING And with this if you miss something from Kali Linux forum. https://github.com/madmantm/rtl8814au
Are you using Kali Linux with Virtual Machine? As I know, VMWare or others can't make this device in monitor mode. I'm using Kali with my other partition (laptop) and so far everything work fine.
