Greetings everyone. I have been getting mixed responses regarding a good wireless card for reaver. I have been told that any card should work as long as it supports injection but I'm not willing to take the chance, I'd rather have a good card that has been proven to work successfully. I will most likely be running the backtrack version of reaver pro, not that I think that matters but I have been told that this version supports a larger range of cards. With that being said could anyone here recommend a good card to me, I'm quite new to this scene and do appreciate any input that anyone has to share!! thanks.

There is a difference between a chipset and a chip: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipset The whole circuit board is the AR9002U. The chip is the AR9271.

Need a card as the one in my computer will not go into monitor mode. Where is the best place to buy one of these? How do I know which card is right for my computer. I have a HP Pavilion Notebook G7. Any advice and recommendations are appreciated. I downloaded Reaver Pro and Vm Machine and learned how to use them. I had everything figured out but of course I couldn't put my card (eth3) into monitor mode. I'm sure you can guess I am a real newbie but I love figuring out how to use programs like this. I just don't want to make a mistake and buy the wrong card or one that isn't compatible with my computer.
