    Hi there!

I'm trying to get the AWUS036NHR to work with Reaver. I've searched this forum and I concluded that I would be best off using Beini 1.2.3. Before loading the image in VMWare, I added Reaver to the applications extensions by following the instructions in [this] thread. I used "reaver-1.4-svn-r107.tcz", because with "reaver-r113.tcz" I got the following error while executing reaver: "error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.1".

After putting my card in monitoring mode and execute reaver I get "Waiting for beacon from (bssid of AP)", after which I get a "Failed to associate" warning every 20 seconds or so. I have a TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND AP with OpenWrt r34996 running on it (WPA2 PSK). Possibly, WPS is disabled. But this wouldn't prevent reaver from associating, am I right?

I hope someone is able to help me out. I already managed to crack WEP on my AP with Beini 1.2.3 and aircrack-ng today, thanks to all the useful information on this Forum! Thank you :)

Hello Pascal, thanks for your response. However, I'm not able to figure out what you mean. Could you rephrase the question?
If you mean what it is that I am working on: I'm trying to crack my AP's WPA2 key by using Beini 1.2.3 + Reaver with my AWUS036NHR. I am not succeeding because I'm getting failed association warnings...

I analyzed the packets from the association phase and I saw something identical to what I had seen earlier this day when trying to do a fake association with aireplay-ng in BT5r3. [Here] is a link to my post on the aircrack-ng forums which describes this issue.
