I'm very new to linux and now i'm trying to learn backtrack 5 r3. i run r3 on VMware 9 but i cant scan any wireless card (awus036NHR). I was told that i need to disconnect from host, but i cant manage to do it because it keep display The device is in use. How can i solve this problem?
Host = Host computer. You need to disconnect through device manager or disable it through the Windows network manager. You should also delete the driver and utility on Windows to get it to work through VM.
