I've tried to run Xiaopan 0.4.7.2 from a CD but It doesn't work, instead I've tried to run it on VMWare and it worked, but no wifi card detection ... Is there something that I can do to run it from a cd (I burned Xiaopan using Nero and Isoburner); I had a Xiaopan 0.4.X iso and I works perfect by booting from cd ... but when tried to boot Xiaopan 0.4.7.2 it says that can't find kernel (or at least that's what I remember). Please help me to solve this
Sorry, I forgot to mention it, it is a Qualcomm Atheros AR5B125 Wireless Network Adapter, I'd like to run it from boot instead of using VMWare
Do you think that's the problem.... I burn again Xiaopan on at slower speed (10x is the slowest), but I got the same message : ISOLINUX 4.02 debian .... etc etc EDD: Error 0100 reading sector 35395 No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found! boot:
Have you checked your iso md5 checksum sounds like it's having trouble reading your boot/isolinux/isolinux.cfg or its corrupt
..... ok, so what will I do?, should I download the xiaopan again a test it? or there is something else that I can do?
The checksum should be Code: Select All 585f86c04a4f419a78a33c2f85767bf8 use winMD5 free http://www.winmd5.com to check iso if it doesn't match it's corrupt
Thanks, I used this tool , and yep the ISO was corrupted, I download again, and corrupted again I got 1477b92d4e91b692a62781a668342a76 using WinMD5 you told me that the cheksum must be 585f86c04a4f419a78a33c2f85767bf8 by the way the download was of 69.1 Mb
I download the Xiaopan from the downloads page of this forum, and it send me to http://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaopanos/ ... I will try tiday to use a usb to see if it works ... (I didn't use this method, because I use my usb's a lot)
