Issue Can't save .cap file to hard drive or USB

    I've read and download instructions on how to mount my hard drive or USB drive, but now matter what I try, I either get a "copy failed" message or another message(not sure of the wording) that tells me permission is denied. Also followed instructions from https://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/save-a-handshake.4079/ posted by estimacamry.

    I'm fairly comfortable with computers but a real noob at this. Any help will be appreciated.

    For me to save .cap files, I save it on my live USB drive. When you open on Windows, you will see the .cap files there. I do try to save it on other USB drive, but the error same as yours.

    Could be "write permission denied" on a ntfs. Have you try FAT32 formatted usb?

    Maybe that could be too, but I do use my USB drive as FAT32.

    May I know how to copy the handshake file into hard disk? I cant copy it to my hard disk. It gets error message. I can get it into USB.
