    Guys,
Been trying for 2 days to remove Win 7 and reinstall XP. No windows.old file found because I formatted C drive before installing Win7 (Big Mistake!!). After setting up bios to run from my XP installation CD, it won't boot up but continue to start Win7. Any help would be much appreciated.
    1. Don't need dual boot.
    2. XP drivers no problem as I have the support CD with me.

you have to 1 stop the fast or quick boot up from BIOS or 2 take the Hard disk drive and format it in Another pc or laptop

    emon11,
Thanks for your reply. Problem solved. The error lies on my installation disc I think. I created a bootable usb using UNetbootin and it boots up alright
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/une...tin-windows-581.exe/download?use_mirror=jaist). Tried Win7 for 2 weeks, the screen display is awesome compare to Win XP, drivers are automatically downloaded and installed during updates so no problem getting the latest drivers for your computer. Only setback was data transfer to usb is too slow in Win7 (I get only 1mb/sec) even though I have checked the "High Performance" box. After browsing around for an answer, I found this http://windows7professional.wordpress.com/2010/02/06/windows-7-usb-transfers-slow/. Another problem was my USB devices sometimes are not detected, tried uninstall and reinstalling the latest drivers don't seem to help. Maybe some Window 7 users in this forum can comment a little on these issues cause I love to have Window 7 back on my computer.
