Myself Souvik, a new user of XIAOPAN. At first I got the info that XIAOPAN works with all usb wifi adapters (VB and live mode) and internal adapters are supported only in live mode. I did a search on this forum before posting this. If I am reposting this please forgive me. So, I have bought an usb wireless adapter (Leoxsys LEO-NANO150N) which works perfectly as a plug-n-play device under windows (no driver installation required). But the mentioned usb adapter was not detected by both XIAOPAN and Beini (tried VB and live mode)!!! I have tried on several PCs. Now, on my notebook (HP pavilion p029tx) there is a combo chip for Bluetooth and wifi: Broadcom BCM43142. This adapter wasn’t detected by XIAOPAN too. I have searched a lot and as per search results I have tried putting different conditions from windows before booting the live usb: Turning on both Bluetooth & Wifi, turning off the same etc. Have I done any mistake? Is there any particular procedure to make adapter detectable? If possible please provide tutorial to recover wifi password under windows. Thanks.
no replies so far..... I think there is no solution other than updating xiopan's compatibility....please post a compatibility list as all usb wifi aren't supported..
RTL8188EU and Broadcom will not work with Xiaopan. I think both are lousy when it comes to injection as well.
