Hello fellas, 'Which is the best adapter ?' I do know that this question is almost in every topic in this board, but I wanted to make this unique topic since I have more question including antenna,cable,etc.. Well,I've been looking for an adapter that works well for me all over the net,but I still dont have a clear idea,I hope I'll get some convincing answers from you guys. Let's get into the suject ! Basically,I'm trying to build an antenna that could reach around 5KM.And of course be able to connect with available networks. To do so,and after many search on the net,I found out tht the 24dbi grid antenna is the best choice. It perform better than any other antenna, could reach long range and it got high sensibility. Now,we arrive to the adapter thing.First I think alfa product are the best on the mark.so,It's just a matter of the models.. Many people adviced me to get a Awus036NH but i read that there are some compatibly problems. Also I think the 036H is too old.. So,which adapter you think will be the best for me ? and will the grid antenna do the job ? considering that - I live in a high place, and got no obstacles ahead of me. - I'm a little bit far from the city, and I only have to care about the north side, because there are nothing elsewhere. - Most of networks here are N and G. - Be powerful enough to work with the grid antenna. - I need it to support injectionand to be compatible with reaver. An other thing is the cable. The antenna will be on the roof, and I need a 10m cable. Which is the best way to minimize signal lost ? - short USB cable, and extending coaxial cable (10m) to the roof. - Long USB cable (10 m) and short coaxial cable. - Long USB cable with double USB ports, and short coaxial cable. Thank you and have a good day !
