I register here because I have ALFA AWUS036NHR (1st version) and I have the XIAOPAN OS 0.4.2.3. My problem is I cannot found any client when I'm using feeding bottle to scan WEP APs. The APs are found but all have 0 clients. When I use my notebook wireless card (it's an intel 4965agn), those same APs indeed have clients connected to them. Further checking in this forums, I found the problem the same as mine which is "unknown rtl8192cu" chipset issue. I'm not sure if this is the reason I get 0 client but if possible I want to fix this. Further searching inside this forums, people said need to install compat-wireless but the instructions are very cryptic to me. I'm a linux noob, I only know how to use ubuntu. Something as bare as xiaopan is difficult to me. Somemore, those instruction said need to download compat-wireless but going to the site they said compat-wireless has been changed to backports(?) which left me more confuse. So hopefully someone can teah me step by step how to fix my issue. Thanks.
