In case you are new to Kismet: 1.) Download the kismet extension from one of the above repositories. 2.) Copy over the kismet-2016-07-r1.tcz extension to your (*/tce/optional/) directory on your mounted device. 3.) Add "kismet-2016-07-r1.tcz" after the last line in your onboot.lst located in your (*/tce/) directory. 4.) Reboot your system or load the extension manually through your "packages / apps browser". 5. Open your terminal and enter the following: sudo airmon-ng check kill ; sudo airmon-ng start wlan0 *whatever your monitor device is* ; sudo kismet_client ; 6.) Upon startup choose to start kismet sever, which will most likely give you an error about "no capture device". 7.) Choose "add capture device" - the "intf" will be your monitor device "wlan0mon" etc. 8.) Choose a name for this device, and select ok/start. Enjoy~
