He was selected 23rd overall in the 1997 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills on the strength of his senior season, in which he rushed for 1,239 yards and 14 touchdowns. He played his firstfour years in Buffalo before moving on to New England. There, he helped the Patriots win Matthew Stafford Jersey Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVII by rushing for a combined 456 yards and two touchdowns during their two playoff runs.
