Easy to understand how to create / make your own Wifi antenna. It's in englisch but easy to follow "tech talk" http://depositfiles.com/files/335xm6ybw
I was unaware that the given link no longer worked, do you have a certain antenna in mind you would like to make?? and need a blueprint for it.
No problem, we are all just human, so I let you know that the link did not work. Have neither "a certain" antenna in mind, nor know more about it. That's why I would have been interested in the link, hoping for more information. Thank you and have a nice Day!
Making an antenna is not hard by any means, I made a "cantenna" using an aluminum waste paper basket and an adjustable LCD screen arm, what you need to look into is a chart for wavelengths - ie you need to mount your coax inset within your "antenna" housing a certain amount of inches from the "back plate" of the housing you build - it is different depending on 2.4 or 5 so keep that in mind when building - building your own you will need to build for one wavelength or the other or two separate antenna for 2.4 and 5 capturing. Some reading for you: https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/technical-articles/wi-fi-antennas-part-1-fundamentals/ https://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Low-Cost-WiFi-Antenna https://wireless-home-network-made-easy.com/homemade-wifi-antenna.html https://www.pickmyrouter.com/diy-wifi-antenna/ https://www.instructables.com/id/Easy-to-Build-WIFI-24GHz-Yagi-Antenna/ Tools you will likely need: 1.) Side cutters / aluminum snips / circular cutting disc mutli-tool "only one of these types is needed" 2.) Hot glue gun 3.) Soldering gun and spool of solder - or a wall outlet extension cord with insullation removed to expose live hot wire and a spool of solder 3.) Coax with large to rp-sma connector 4.) Rp-sma cable to your rp-sma female connector on external wifi usb card 5.) Housing you plan to use - ie paint can, beans can, pringles can, copper plate, waste basket, copper mesh grid built soldering coat hangers, what ever you choose 6.) Research, tinker and have fun
I not just started but i think that will work. --- Double Post Merged, 23 Apr 2021, Original Post Date: 23 Apr 2021 --- Any Way I want to make a wifi antenna for my tenda modem is that will work for it or not I want to outreach my wifi signals to whole village. Is that will work? This Harper from americatools.
Does your modem have an rp-sma connector for a wifi antenna dongle? should look like a miniature coaxial female port on your device? usually on the side or back and probably came with one or two screw on adjustable plastic antennas that can bend near the base and rotate? If so.. then yes, yes you can make an antenna for this modem. These devices depending on the actual wifi chipset within the device are generally better suited for making long range broadcasting or capturing antennas due to them usually having some kind of ac/dc 9v or 12v power adapter. Where as most usb wifi gear, no matter how modified still are powered and limited by the 5v capacity of usb data/electrical current pairing.
