I think backtrack you may have to add the firmware as intel are pretty poor for injection ect so not high priority.
The driver's for xiaopan should be there in the compat-wireless not sure about firmware you'll have to check dmesg to see errors.

Seems that no matter i uncluded a message at boot screen saying "Internal cards does not work on virtualisation"
People still saying "Xiaopan does not recognize my card, why?"

I run with the same problem, i have used various usb wifi dongles with atheros, rtl and zydas chips and they are not recognized, and also i have used my alfa awus036NH long range usb adapter and it still says "NO WIRELESS CARD FOUND", so i had to resort to going back to the previous XIAOPAN or WIFI SLAX.

For USB cards, just unplug & plug it again. That method has solved the "no wireless card found" issue

Hi there, I'm having the same problem.

I`m running on my ASUS Laptop XiaoPan 0.4.2.2 under the VMvare Player in Windows 8.1.

Now XiaoPan cannot detect my laptop wireless card.

Does anyone know how to help me?
Unfortunately I have ZERO knowledge in Linux

    Thanks!
