On the bottom left of Minidwep-gtk there is an option for Mode Selection for WEP cracking. By default the following 3 (of 6) are ticked (selected) Aireplay-ng-2 Aireplay-ng-3 Aireplay-ng-5 Other choices are Aireplay-ng-4 Aireplay-ng-6 Aireplay-ng-7 What are the differences between each and how do they affect the manner in which the cracking is done?
I won't go into details of each but I can help you get started: Aireplay-ng -0: Deautenticate [Conflict Mode] Aireplay-ng -1: Fakeauth Count [disguised client connection] Aireplay-ng -2: Interactive Packet Relay Aireplay-ng -3: ARP Request [injected into the attack mode] Aireplay-ng -4: Chopchop [Attack Mode] Aireplay-ng -5: Fragment [fragmented packet attack mode] Aireplay-ng -6: Cafe Latte Attack Aireplay-ng -7: Hirte Attack Red = Highly recommended Green = While not exactly for cracking, they are part of the process / speed the attack
