Hi there , I was hoping I could get some advice on the xiaopan bootable iso image. I have D/L on two occasions and on Both times will not boot once created the bootable USB-KEY with balena etcher . Using Gparted I can mount the disk yet theres no boot flag because theres no boot partition. Whats going on is some one in the middle altering things looking for windows boxes. Can anybody give advice as to how I can fix this? Can I use another live disk to to edit a partition in the same way you would repair a broken grub on say ubuntu? If so what ISO would I use to try those methods chmod and chroot mount umount and bind etc? in a bid to write repair this boot boot problem? Thanks if anybody can help. prefer to DL a copy that works out of the box so to speak..

    Hello

One of the reason for the no boot disk detected or the disk has failed error message is because the HDD/ boot disk is not at the top of the boot order. However, if the HDD/boot disk is not at the top of the boot order, the computer tries to boot from another source which results in the error message.
