Here's something odd... Wifi router is a Netgear WNR1000v2 and pin is known. Every time I run Reaver with the correct pin, Reaver returns a different password AND ALSO gives a different ESSID than what is shown in wash. If I try to use just the password I cannot associate with the wifi router, and if I try "connect to a hidden network" with the ESSID and pass provided by Reaver, it also fails to associate. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, have you found a workaround? ps: in case it matters, I'm using 32 bit Kali, but this Netgear WNR1000v2 responds just the same via reaver in Backbox.
