Hi guys fellow Xiaopan Members can you please enlighten my problem i am using AWUS036H rtl1817 with VMPlayer Xiaopan 0.4.1 and i got this problem WLAN0 or not detected also i get "failed to associate....." please help why i get this problem and how to fix this? thanks in advance
Wlan0 or Wlan1 does not matter. It fails to associate because the network isn't WPS enabled.... hence you cannot use Reaver or Minidwep. Use a newer version of Xiaopan. That is so old... the one you are using. Find a WPS network. Also -71 is way too far. -64 or better is recommended. Yagi antenna and outdoor cracking is recommended.

You should see wps listed after the encryption column if the network is WPS enabled. RSSI or signal strength.... -64.
