I have tested this for the 5 days and it really works, you get about 10-20% more WIFI signals. (yeah I know it looks ugly...)

    Instruction:
Grab an Ikea cutlery holder like this one in photo, what you need to do is to unscrew the antenna from your ALFA(whatever brands) and then put it right in the middle of the Ikea cutlery holder and screw it back tightly, that's all. :joy

Destroy a metallic trash can by making holes around it or take a cheese grater, put your Alfa (whatever brand) antenna on it, get 20 - 30% better signal?
    sounds easy to do :D

This sounds awesome, looking forward to trying. You mention that it increases sensitivity (finds more networks) but does it increase signal quality and RSSI? Would love to see an output in inSSIDer comparing the two. Also you mentioned that you should take the antenna off but the picture shows it has it on? o_O Wanna make a video on this :)

Something does not mean that you have high gain antenna then you can receive many wifi.It is depend to how far of the other wifi they can send. The can antenna is indoor antenna that can give you made the direction easy.you can turn to any way to receive the wifi that you wish
to receive and get stronger wifi signal.
