In minidwep-gtk Wep cracking What can one do to improve the success rate of getting the pass if the target AP is hiding the ESSID? I have tried many times on different APs which hide their ESSIDs without much success!
Hello If you are interested in access point that hide their ESSID, then it is not well complicated. There must be a client connected to the AP (otherwise it is not possible) Desauthifiant by the AP, he'll send his packet of identification, the AP ESSID ... The best way is to let it run for KISMET before he finds hidden ESSID each time a client connects to the AP hidden Good Luck
